Care & Maintenance

How to clean your instrument

As needed, use a spray cleaner and a soft cloth to rub away dirt on the instrument body. About once a year, we recommend applying a thin coat of lemon oil to the fretboard — be careful not to overcoat!

Keeping your instrument healthy

We recommend taking your instrument in for a professional set up after every 6 to 12 months of play. This will be a great investment in keeping your instrument clean and loved for years to come.

Storing your instrument

When storing your instrument for an extended time period, we recommend putting a humidifier with your instrument in the gig bag. It will help keep the wood moist and prevent any warping, fret buzz, or other common issues.
