Returns and Exchanges

30-Day Return Policy 

We hope you enjoy our instruments as much as we do. If for whatever reason you’re not satisfied with your instrument during your 30 days, you can return your undamaged instrument through the following process. Please note, our return policy only applies to purchases made through sterlingbymusicman.com.

Return Process

In order to return your instrument, it must be repackaged in its original condition with the Sterling by Music Man box and the gig bag (if applicable). Please note that a handling fee of $15.00 per product will be deducted from your return credit. Any amount paid for shipping is nonrefundable. We’re unable to accept incomplete or improperly returned instruments. 

Step 1 

Contact info@sterlingbymusicman.com to request a return. In your email, please include the order number that’s found in your order confirmation email.

Step 2 

You’ll receive a prepaid shipping label via email from our customer support team. Please follow the instructions given in the email to properly label and ship the instrument back to us.

Step 3

Place your instrument inside the gig bag and pack it into the original Sterling by Music Man shipping box. Download and print the shipping label and affix to the shipping box. Make sure any other shipping labels have been removed or completely covered.

Step 4

Drop the shipping box at a local FedEx location. To find the drop-off location nearest to you, please use FedEx’s Location Finder.
